Flight Power of WOW

I think if you're on a PVE server there isn’t a problem with flying mounts but they definitely have a negative impact on PVP servers. I'm all for no flying mounts until level cap in new zones also as they just trivialise the journey which is what MMO's are meant to be about. Once you’re at the cap then it’s appropriate to have them for convenience and getting about but not before.
I agree flying mounts should be locked initially. But there is nothing like playing my Druid in Epic Flight Form and soaring across the world. Sometimes I get lost for literally hours just doing that. Flying high, flying low! Swooping down over a newbies head! It's exciting.
I actually dont like Flying Mounts. It hurts the longevity of the game. Specially now that they are being brought in at launch half the time. The idea of Exploration is one of the selling features, the second you get on a flying mount you fly up look down and go "OH thats whats its like" with the flying mount you can explore the entire planet in a day.
I have been playing this game since it was released. But sometimes for some reason i wish things would become simple like they were at launch. Less crowded areas no flying mounts and hard content.
Lots of improvements were made with MoP but too much rep grind and i wish they kept the cataclysm 5 man heroic formula.
Also the theme for this expansion isnt very appealing. Flakes and heals bright, days and Pandas ....
rather than Burning legions or an undead and dark world. I want the good old bad guys back. But still game is going foward ...
I hope their next expansion will come out sooner just cause this expansion theme, landscape and art made a lot of my friends and guildies leave the game.
Now comon take away those flying mounts and next xpac make us De-level  instead of leveling up. Either that or open a revamped vanilla server with rereleased remastered gradually released content
Wow man, are we still talking about this? Very original article thank you.

This is a subject that's never been discussed to death over the years and a subject that is worthy of discussion time and time again thanks to ongoing research and findings on the subject. Your article really tackles the issue in a different way and brings a fresh perspective!

I mean as a boring forum thread i would understand but as an article on a big mmo site, no.

Nephalem. Diablo III is set to release September 3 on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

We sub because if no one speaks up, this behavior will continue in a downward spiral. Some of us hold out hope that the higher ups will learn from their mistakes, and release the real sequel to Diablo 2 that we all wanted, rather than a top down version of WoW for consoles  diablo3 account.

Nope.Just stating Facts and the facts are is that person Anthony Finelly is a liar and hypocrite. You can found Sieagebreaker in act 3 AND there is NO jungle area in act 3 as he says.So yeah.As you can see he jsut tries to "hate" something that he hasnt even played diablo 3 account sale.

Do it then in another forum, not in their homepage. You want to complain?Fine then.Do it somewhere else. But who i am kidding, haters gonna hate, and hypocrites will be hyppocrites.I am sure you still play.If someone who had stopped playing the game,he wouldnt even bother flame and hate here..Not to metion that he wouldnt even bother to comment on my post sell diablo 3 account. The fact that you commented is that youa re the persons that i metuioned above

Some Question About WOW

My goal is also to build decks. As a Magic: the Gathering player for almost 20 years, I really enjoy building decks. I am looking for that same feeling I had when I first started playing Magic where I bought a bunch of cards and just started building decks. After playing Magic for so long, deck building in Magic isn't as exciting for me any more.When my friend bought a bunch of WoW cards, I helped him build some decks and also built one of my own. I felt that excitement when every card seems exciting and new. I right now have a huge urge to buy some WoW cards or buy WOW gold and build some decks. I am planning a bulk purchase with some friends, so I hope to get some good advice on how to make the most of my gold for WoW.Another question I have is with regard to what sets and blocks would be best with my group and environment. The reason I am getting really into this game is the cooperative gaming option. Many in my gaming group like cooperative games in general. The cooperative nature of WoW, playing against dungeon and raid decks is what really appeals to me. The decks that I will be making are going to be geared towards a cooperative environment against dungeon and raid decks, like a raid in the WoW MMO.I was wondering which sets would be best suited to making decks for cooperative play against dungeon and raid decks. I have heard that the older sets have more class cards and the newer sets have more ally cards. For that reason, my friends were considering getting older sets.

Is HTML5 going to release Prifdinnas

I've always heard that the reason the elf finale keeps getting delayed is because y'all didn't have the graphical technology to release Prifdinnas. Is HTML5 going to mean that the delay is no longer due to lack of graphical technology runescape money

Also, Mod Honeyboo, that is an amazing name.

What made you redo gnome graphics in such a short period of time after they were initially updated and arguably looked cheap rs gold better though less detailed?

Q.) How did you manage to make the tzhaar look sooo awesome? Their graphics now are 10x better than their older ones.

Q.) Will the fire cape ever be getting a graphical update?

Do you ever feel restricted on what you can create buy rs gold by the graphical boundaries of Java and HTML5? Have they ever gotten in the way of a great idea? If so, what did they get in the way of?

What do you enjoy about finding items?

As a longtime fan of the Diablo franchise, I am dismayed when I see someone say that it is all about the items. Even so, I cannot deny that finding items can be thrilling Diablo 3 items.

Looking back, in Diablo I got excited when I found:
Truly unique quest items (e.g. Arkaine's Valor)Elixirs that permanently increased my statsSpellbooks that gave me new abilities

In Diablo 2, I got excited when I found:
Set items, in hopes of some day collecting them all (or at least one full set)Runes, in hopes of one day making one of those game-changing runewordsCharms, which felt like permanent increases to my stats that I could customizeExceptional/Elite versions of common items - just seeing the cooler name amid the garbage was inspiring

I recognize that the item experiences from Diablo 2 that I most enjoyed were added in the Lord of Destruction expansion, which added many new itemization systems. It is my hope that the [first] expansion to Diablo 3 adds similar depth to itemization diablo 3 items buy.

Until then, I find myself reflecting on the excitement of the present item hunt. In Diablo 3, I get excited when I find:
Recipes, in hopes of one day finding them allSet items for the reason above, though I've only ever found one diablo 3 accounts
I did not find a single legendary, set or recipe until I had already played through all acts of Diablo 3 no fewer than 9 times. That is a long time to wait for an item thrill.

But I argue that the problem for a player like me isn't a lack of awesome items, or the time between upgrades - it is the UI. The character sheet is detailed and thorough, and more accurate than Diablo 2's sheet ever was, but it is a plain boring wall of text. There is no excitement in increasing those numbers. I am a visual person - and I am not alone. Watching meters increase; seeing slots filled in a journal; even just seeing a number change color to indicate progress - these things convey excitement.

These UI changes would instantly increase my interest in the game as I wait for an expansion:
Show the base item name on my identified gear. I want to be reminded that the really great armor I have is a "___", so that I can actually feel a little bit of that excitement again whenever I see another unidentified item of that type drop.Update the crafting UI to show all recipes and distinguish those that I learned through leveling, found as drops, and have yet to find. Let me reflect on the progress that I have made while teasing me with what more I have to find. Let me see the items I might one day craft, without having to leave the game and shuffle through webpages.Sort the Blacksmith UI by level, not by slot. I never think "I hate my boots. Haedrig! Make me better boots!", but I sometimes think "I just hit a new level. Haedrig! What can you make for me?"Update the character sheet to provide a quick visual representation of how well I am protected against each element. Let me see the percentage visually and without a mouse hover - the raw rating is meaningless. Let me see how my offensive stats balance against each other. Let me see how much of my estimated sheet DPS is from flat damage, from elemental damage, and from critical hits.

What do you enjoy about finding items?

World of Warcraft Down to Eight Million Subscribers

What kind of idiot in china or korea would play WoW when they have BnS? I am WoW fan boy and I buy WOW accounts and buy WOW gold once, but honestly BnS has more to offer than WoW and i don't see why people will continue to play WoW in eastern market. teh decline in eastern market is no doubt due to BnS. good for them and i think it is wake up call for WoW too, entire year kept suggesting to improve visual quality of characters/npc/mosnters, keep the cartoony look but improve it and make it look more real like pixar or disney animated cartoons. but no they don't want to, even though ghostcrawler admitted that current game engine is capable of miraculous graphical changes they are not going to do that because people are happy the way they are now. moronic fanboys and their blind money sinking really pisses me off.

Deferred revenue has nothing to do with transfers, that goes into cash.  deferred revenue is subscription time that hasnt been used up.  Most likely current months sub revenue + multi month subs.  Im not one of their accouttants so I don't really know for sure the complete makeup of that account, but by definition instant account transfers can't be deferred revenue.

i guess they may have to cut food...after 10 years, this number is beyond their wildest dreams and they will not produce any new mmo game (e.g. titan) before wow drops at least to 1-2m subs. so 8m subs after 10 years, unfortunately for who ever waits a new mmo from blizz, is still a huge number

They tried to merge but moronic oafs on those servers refused merger as it will "hurt their server pride". people like them really pisses me off.

It is Truly Amazing the Amount of Hate WoW Receives

WoW is still by far the best MMO regarding endgame PvE and PvP.You can buy WOW account.

Probably due to the fact it cause the almost complete stagnation of the genre. It's the mmo equivalent of CoD/halo.

While I'm no fan of buying the same game every year, so I don't, if these games could be improved upon, they would be. Saying WoW is the reason MMOs are stale is like saying pizza is the reason why Italian food never progressed after it was made. Whether a game is good or bad is all subjective. And sales figures don't tell the whole story of quality since advertising is often the biggest factor, not the quality of the product (look at Coke/Pepsi sales). That a vocal section of any other game population sits around whining about WoW is just funny, though. If I'm playing a game, any game, the last thing I do is waste my time whining about a different game that I'm not even playing. As if MMO nerd wasn't already hitting the bottom of the barrel, there's always someone willing to scrape it clean, I suppose.

It's sort of like when break up with your bf/gf and you move on to someone else. You talk to all your friends about how great your new bf/gf is, how happy they make you and blah blah, and yet for some reason you continue to bash your ex. No one will even bring them up, yet all of a sudden it's "Yeah, my new bf/gf is soooooo great, not like my ex, they are the ****ing scum of the earth and they need to die." You continue that for a month, then you start getting bored with that so-called awesome new gf/bf, you start saying "Yeah, my ex sucked, but we had some great times." Then you'll be banging your new bf/gf and instead of focusing on them in the present moment, your mind starts wondering and you're thinking "I remember when my ex and I banged in my car during my random great-great aunt's funeral. I wonder what they're doing right about now? Are they with someone else??", then another month later you "butt dial" your ex and you're like "oops i didn't meant to do that, sorry...so how are you?" and just like that, you're back to ****ing your ex. In short, people always find new love in MMOs, but as soon as the novelty wears off, they'll banging WoW again, because although WoW is a douche, it's probably the best ride you'll ever have.
